As if mines/IEDs, EFPs and RPGs aren’t enough, now there’s armor-piercing grenades a.k.a. armor-penetrating grenades. The Refaim Advanced Infantry Weapon System, or "Advanced Infantry Rifle Grenade", manufactured by Israel Military Industries Ltd. (IMI), is an air-burst telescopic bullet trap rifle grenade that incorporates point detonation, time delay, and self-destruct functions. Apparently, the U.S. Army has a new combat mini-grenade in its arsenal. It’s called the HG-86 (short for SplHG 86), and it’s made by ARGES (Armaturen Gesellschaft m. b. H.) of Austria.
