Diamondhead USA 45 Degree Offset Flip Sights BUIS Back Up Iron Sights for Tactical AR 15 Rifle Carbine SBR Sub Carbines SHOT Show 2012 DefenseReview.com DR 5 Diamondhead USA 45 Degree Offset Flip Sights/BUIS (Back Up Iron Sights) for Tactical AR 15 Rifle/Carbine/SBR/Sub CarbinesThe Diamondhead V-RS T/TD Versa-Rail System wasn't the only new tactical AR (AR-15) goody that the good folks at Diamondhead USA had on display at SHOT Show 2012. DefenseReview (DR) also got to see the new Diamondhead 45-Degree-Offset Flip Sights/BUIS (Back-Up Iron Sights) for tactical rifle/carbine/SBRs (Short Barreled Rifles)/sub-carbines, which are designed to be used in conjunction with glass combat optics/sights like the Trijicon ACOG series, Aimpoint CompM4 and Aimpoint Micro T-1, L3-EOTech XPS3 and L3-EOTech EXP3, and Raytheon Elcan SpecterDR 1-4x and SpecterDR 1.5-6x optical sights.

The rear Diamondhead 45-Degree-Offset Flip Sight tucks in right under the ACOG combat optic, and can be either integral with that sight or independent.

These new sights are pretty cool, and DR looks forward to running a pair at the range as soon as possible.

Defense Review shot a quick video of Diamondhead's Dave DeLuca demonstrating the new sight, which you can check out below:
