Military.com SoldierTech has just published what I hope DefenseReview.com readers will consider an interesting article on the Hissatsu knife.

The Hissatsu is a Japanese-style knife featuring an Osoraku-Zukuri-style blade. It was designed by James Williams of Ancient Edge/Bugei Trading Co. and Dojo of the Four Winds specifically for military Spec-Operators for CQB (Close Quarters Battle) engagements. Mr. Williams is a military combatives instructor who specializes in hand-to-hand combat and edged-weapons combatives (knife and sword combatives).
