Lucky Gunner Ammo announces $1,000 Writing Contest: Submit Your Article for “Shooter and Scribe”!

LuckyGunner.com is excited to roll out the first "Shooter and Scribe" writing competition, an article-writing contest which will award one lucky shooter a $1,000 gift card good for ammo and accessories at LuckyGunner.com.

In the competition, entrants are asked to submit a 250 – 2,500 word article related to shooting, guns, or ammunition. Ideal submissions will be unique, original works that are not political in nature. At the end of March, Lucky Gunner staff will select finalists from all submissions. From there, the shooting community will vote on a grand prize winner.

A few sample articles that portray a taste of what judges will be looking for can be found at Lucky Gunner’s Google+ page:

The deadline for submissions is March 25 with finalists having their work published as part of a LuckyGunner Labs post in early April. Online voting will crown a champion April 5.

Prizes include:

·         First Prize: $1,000 Lucky Gunner gift card

·         Second Prize: $500 LuckyGunner.com gift card

·         3rd Prize: Blackhawk! accessories prize package.
