Maxim Defense PDX tactical AR PDW wasn’t interesting enough, the company also showed us the Maxim Defense HK416 PDW conversion/upgrade hybrid weapon system that utilizes the Maxim Defense SCW Stock system with proprietary BCG (Bolt Carrier Group) and SCW Buffer and Spring system, tactical handguard/rail system, short barrel and Maxim Defense Hate Brake (also written HATEBRAKE) Muzzle Booster , so it really looked like a PDX with a HK416 receiver.
Defense Review would be interested to see how the Maxim Defense upgraded HK416 PDW conversion compares to the Maxim Defense PDX 5.56mm PDW at the range. We’re guessing that the PDX is a little lighter, but we’re more interesting in the felt-recoil and firing characteristics differences.
