I just walked outside real quick and looked up at the sky to check for flying pigs. Get this–Smith and Wesson is coming out with a true-blue, honest-to-God single-stack Government model 1911 pistol, and right soon. The new gun will reportedly have an external extractor, a Smith and Wesson-made magazine, stainless steel frame and slide, and possibly some kind of new sight.
