The following is a Trident Concepts, LLC press release on their upcoming Combative Carbine (CC1) course, Shooting on the Move-Carbine (SOMC) course, and Combative Pistol (CP1) course that will be held in succession in Los Angeles, CA from March 16-21, 2005:

"Upcoming High Intensity Training…
Learning to hit hard and fast with a pistol or carbine.
Los Angeles, CA March 16-21, 2005 We will be conducting six days straight of intensive weapons training. We will start with our 2-day Combative Carbine (CC1) course followed by the 1-day Shooting on the Move-Carbine (SOMC) course on March 16-18, 2005. The CC1 class is $350.00 and the SOM class is $200.00 or $550.00 for both. Both classes are restricted to to law enforcement officers and military members only. This block of instruction will be…

conducted at the Burro Canyon Shooting Range.
We will then be conducting our 2-day Combative Pistol (CP1) course followed by the 1-day Secondary Weapons Transition (SWT) course on March 19-21, 2005. The CP1 class is $350.00 and the SWT class is $175.00 or both for $525.00. Both classes are unrestricted and open to the general public. This block of instruction will be conducted at the Angeles Shooting Range.

Combative Carbine (CC1)

The Combative Carbine (CC1) course will introduce the combative fundamentals to the individual by habituating correct technique under the stress of performance. We use extended range sessions to reinforce proper technique execution and establish performance memory. This mentality will enhance weapons competency level by practicing techniques to the subconscious level. The individual will establish confidence at obtaining an Improved Battlesight Zero and become familiar with the Point Blank Range. They will employ quick and solid mounts to achieve repeated first round hits at close and ultra close ranges. The methodology of our program is to provide effective and timely solutions to realistic problems. The individual will perfect the necessary foundational skills to achieve better combat accuracy, tactical proficiency and performance consistency. These techniques will provide the individual with sound options that can be relied upon if and when circumstances dictate.
The Shooting on the Move, Carbine course is for those who have developed aggressive and effective carbine techniques with their primary shooting method already. This course will provide the individual with the instruction and the opportunity to engage targets on the move from a variety of conditions. The goal of Shooting on the Move, Carbine is to build skills confidence for engaging threats while on the move. Offer insight into combative carbine skills under the pressure of movement during a variety of conditions. Develop motivation to practice and exposure to dynamic and tactical situations where movement is critical.

Combative Pistol (CP1)

The Combative Pistol (CP1) course will introduce the combative fundamentals to the individual by habituating correct technique under the stress of performance. Secondary Weapons Transitions will provide the instruction and opportunity to transition to alternate weapons or backup weapons. This class will conduct a lot a backup weapon transitions, preferable from the weak side hip.
