On the military battlefield, strategic and tactical communications are of primary importance. Nothing’s more important. So, for this reason, DefenseReview (DR) finds Defense Strategies Insitute’s (DSI) upcoming 6th Annual Military Tactical Communications Summit (September 12-13, 2017) very interesting, and welcome. So, we’ve decided to engange in a media partnership with DSI for the event. Here’s the skinny on it, from DSI:

The 6th Annual Military Tactical Communications Summit will focus on providing network capability and enhanced C4ISR to the tactical edge in support of the Warfighter. This Summit is important because it enables the public and people within the industry to discuss tactical communications with senior government leaders in a 2-day town-hall forum. You will have the opportunity to hear from the source what our government is facing and what it needs.

Reads pretty good, and is good news, particularly if it helps to shorten the OODA (Observe, Orient, Decide, and Act) loop cycle, allowing the US Military and military defense companies to more quickly and efficiently determine what’s necessary and important, and then develop new and revolutionary tactical communications tech to solve military tactical problems.

DR readers know that we have a particular focus on military Special Operations Forces (SOF) tactical technologies, but we also cover strategic and tactical military defense technologies with general military application, and its our understanding that the DSI 6th Annual Military Tactical Communications Summit will cover the entire gamut. However, since Defense Review is arguably most interested in tactical communications technology specifically geared for SOF operators, we’re particulary looking forward to what gets discussed on this topic at the Summit.

Anyway, if you have an interest in military tactical comms from either a knowledge, business or capability standpoint, the DSI 6th Annual Military Tactical Communications Summit is definitely the event for you. So, check it out.
