Since DefenseReview (DR) writer/contributor Jeff Gurwitch discussed the KRISS Vector SMG .45 ACP submachine gun in his excellent article on subguns for CQB/CQC (Close Quarters Battle / Close Quarters Combat) applications, it’s only appropriate that we publish the following video clips of your humble correspondent firing the Vector in Virginia Beach last Wednesday afternoon, which was rather serendipitous.
DR found the KRISS Vector SMG .45ACP subgun to be very controllable on full-auto, even at it’s very high cyclic rate of fire (ROF) of approximately 1200 RPM. It was also a hell of a lot of fun to shoot!
Defense Review was informed by KRISS USA personnel that future versions of the Vector and KRISS K10 SMGs will likely have a lower cyclic ROF of approx. 950 RPM.
