DefenseReview’s (DR) very first stop at SHOT Show 2017 was the Line of Fire Tactical Gloves (LOF Tactical) booth, where LOF’s Brian Miller and Dynamis Alliance’s Dom Raso showed us the new LOF Tactical/Dynamis Alliance Shooter Glove lightweight, durable Microsuede combat/tactical shooting glove prototype, which really impressed us. The first things we noticed were how thin and comfortable the glove was, and how well it fit our hand. It fit like a second skin, and DR really appreciated its efficient, minimalist and aethetically-pleasing design, front and back. Mr. Raso assured DR that the Shooter Glove is also durable, so that’s good.

The front of the LOF Tactical/Dynamis Shooter Glove prototype sports gripping lines across the palm and fingers, and the production version will feature touchscreen-friendly finger pads, so you can operate your smartphone and/or tablet computer while wearing them. The back of the (prototype) glove sported subtle, minimalist knuckle pads, and the glove secures the hand via a good, snug fit and integral velcro wrist strap.

The LOF Tactical/Dynamis Shooter Glove may just be the best pure combat/tactical shooting glove we’ve ever tried on, although we’ll of course have to test and evaluate the production version of it at the range to be sure. It felt REALLY good, though, so we’re pretty optimistic about it. The micro-suede, combined with the gripping lines runging through the palm and fingers should offer a nice, secure gip on your rifle or pistol grip.

DR isn’t sure whether or not the production glove will incorporate LOF Tactical’s proprietary and revolutionary TEGS gripping material, as we forgot to ask. We’ll update this article when we find out.

Defense Review is going to try to get a production pair of LOF Tactical/Dynamis Shooter Gloves into the hands of DR writer/contributor and chief new product tester Jeff Gurwitch for some range testing as soon as possible. If he says they’re good to go, they’re good to go.
