While we’re on the subject of Midwest Industries (MI) M-LOK tactical handguards/rail systems/forend rail tubes, we should definitely mention the MI SP-Series Free Float Handguard M-LOK Compatible tactical AR (AR-15) rail system, which, just like the MI G3 M-Series Free Float Tactical Handguard, sports MI’s patent-pending anti-slide/anti-twist torque plate and seven-sided M-LOK quad rail system. The difference, of course, is in the diameter, as the MI SP-Series Free-Float Tactical Handguard’s diameter is 1.75″ (1.75 inches) inside, and 2.0″ (2.0 inches) outside, for when you want to run your gun integrally/recessed-suppressed.
Integrally/recessed-suppressed tactical AR carbine/SBR’s (Short Barreled Rifles) are becoming more and more popular, so it’s nice to have a reasonably-priced high-quality quad-rail option (from a good company) out there. If you plan to run a can (silencer/sound suppressor), and rock and M-LOK, the MI SP-Series M-LOK Tactical Handguard will probably do the trick for you, and it won’t break the bank.
