Primary Weapons Systems (PWS) has a cool little 10.75"-barreled semi-auto-only 5.56mm NATO (5.56x45mm NATO)/.223 Rem. tactical AR SBR (Short Barreled Rifle) called the PWS MK110 MOD 1 Rifle, .223 that was designed and developed specifically for suppressed and unsuppressed use. Since it's designed to be fired suppressed, the MK110 SBR utilizes an adjustable gas block. DefenseReview (DR) got a chance to handle the little black bullet blaster at SHOT Show 2013 thanks to the kind assistance of one Lloyd Ayers of PWS.

One of the most notable features of the PWS MK110 MOD 1 5.56mm AR SBR is the mid-length gas piston/op-rod (push-type operating rod) system that comes apart for for easier maintenance. This system was originally designed and developed for the PWS MK107 MOD 1 Rifle, .223 "Diablo" 7" (7-inch) SBR. DR was one of the first publications (and perhaps THE first) to write about the PWS MK107 Diablo 7" tactical piston AR SBR in any detail, right after SHOT Show 2009. The Diablo looked like a badass little sub-compact 5.56mm SBR package for covert ops and vehicle ops, and the same can be said about the MK110 MOD 1.

Other notable features are a PWS stainless-steel Isonite Treated 1:8"-twist barrel, PWS KeyMod modular rail system, BCM Gunfighter Charging Handle (can't go wrong with this accessory), and MagPul MOE tactical accessories (buttstock, pistol grip, MBUS sights (BUIS). The flash hider/flash suppressor on the weapon we saw looked interesting, as well, but we don't know whose it is, yet. In the meantime, check out the video clip below:

The following information on the PWS MK110 MOD 1 SBR comes directly from the PWS website (slightly modified for presentation and readability):
