Strike Industries (SI) has been introducing a lot of great tactical AR accessories, lately. They’ve really been on a roll. So, it doesn’t surprise DefenseReview (DR) that they just introduced their new SI AR-15/M4/M16 Tactical Grip PRO Enhanced, or SI PTG-PRO-E, tactical AR-15 carbine/SBR (Short Barreled Rifle) pistol grip, which is a product-improved version of their standard SI PTG-PRO grip. The document we received from SI on it contained the following information on it:
“SI PTG-PRO-E Description:
Based on the suggestions made by users about our Patriot grips, we decided to enhance the ergonomics by making some improvements to our original design. One of the major changes is the aggressive texture on the sides that will provide better grip during adverse conditions. It has a custom stippled feel that helps create friction without feeling too abrasive against the skin. The grip has also been widened slightly and fits in the palm of your hand more comfortably. A smaller back strap also allows shooters to get a higher grip without going too far above the trigger to be uncomfortable. The grip also has a storage compartment large enough to fit spare parts or a small bottle of lube.

The new Strike Industries SI PTG-PRO-E tactical AR pistol grip looks good from the photos, so Defense Review is looking forward to getting one in house, soon, to stick on one of our lowers and try out. In the meantime, we hope you enjoy the accompanying photos.
DR’s also interested in trying out the SI CQB Pistol Grip Patriot Series tactical AR carbine/SBR pistol grip for dynamic CQB/CQC (Close Quarters Battle/Close Quarters Combat) gunfighting, to see how it stacks up to the PTG-PRO-E in terms of handling/ergonomics and comfort.
